Basic steps to Versioned editing

• Data owner (MGISDATA) registers layer as Versioned
• MGISDATA grants Update privileges on the layer to a user (MTRUST)
• MTRUST creates a version (ex. a child of SDE.DEFAULT)
• MTRUST adds the layer (in his version) to ArcMap and edits
  • Inserts (added features) are recorded in layer's 'A' table
  • Deletes (deleted features) are recorded in layer's 'D' table
  • Updates (changes to existing features) are recorded in both layer's 'A' and 'D' tables
• MTRUST Reconciles his edits with the parent version (on Versioning toolbar)
• SDE user Posts MTRUST's edits to SDE.DEFAULT
